The charm of Bowlish House shines through, with its comfortable room and friendly staff making my visit enjoyable. A delightful breakfast set the tone for the day, though the old building does show signs of wear. Despite some minor imperfections, the overall experience was lovely and welcoming.

Perfect for couples seeking charm
The continental breakfast was self-service, with a wide choice. The bedroom was spacious, light, and the bed was very comfortable.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable.

Vibrant historic atmosphere, Quaint garden views, Artistic collection
Unpleasant interactions with the owner could be improved!!! A serious investment in maintenance is needed !!! Creaky floorboards are distracting during nighttime!!! Wi-Fi connection is frustratingly inconsistent!!!

What a charming old estate! The stunning architecture and warm atmosphere really made us feel at home.
The creaky floorboards added character, but I felt like I was living in a haunted house. Perhaps they could use some ghostbusters?

Had a fab time with my friends staying here! We visited the lovely towns nearby, enjoyed some amazing local eats, and appreciated the warm welcome from Mary Anne with drinks upon arrival. The place had an awesome social vibe, making our stay super enjoyable and memorable.
One thing to note, though, is that the stairs leading up to our room felt a bit worn and could use some sprucing up to enhance the overall experience.

The warm welcome from Patrick and Theresa set a comfortable tone for our stay, complemented by the delicious self-service breakfast options. The character of the ancient property and its quirky rooms made for a unique ambiance, while ample secure parking was a plus. Although we found the location convenient for exploring, the nearby road was occasionally audible, slightly detracting from the tranquility.

Great stay in a charming place!
We spent 3 nights and loved it! Our room was spacious and decorated with some cool art. The shower was great, and breakfast was a treat since it was self-service with loads of options. Only thing was the nearby road could've been noisy, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal at all.
